How To Draw Peppa Pig

 My daughter loves Peppa Pig and so here I will go through an easy to follow drawing tutorial of drawing Peppa Pig oink!

Peppa Pig and the design of the characters on the cartoon are fairly simple and that's why they may be appealing to young kids, although I think that Peppa Pig is a bossy sister to George, my daughter thinks that George is the bossy one by always saying Dinosaur to everything, oh well on with the show.

First you will need:-

• A pencil
• A piece of paper
• And some coloured pencils or felt tips

Now you are ready to start to draw your Peppa Pig

 Once you've drawn the rough shape of Peppas head you can now draw in the features of her face, remembering that the eyes are all on the same side of the face and some of the other things like legs and her ears are placed in a similar way.

The eyes and the ears should be drawn in at this stage, follow the picture to practice!

 The mouth and nose of peppas face are important features, so draw them in just like in the picture below, two round dots for the nostrils and a curved banana shape for Peppas mouth...

Again practice drawing mouths before you add it in if you want, or if it doesn't look right you can always rub it out with a good eraser later.

Now with the face drawn, you can move onto the body....

 All that is required is an arched shape, which you won't see the top of the arch as Peppas head is on the top of the body, but as we all know, Peppa wears a nice red dress nearly all the time, but we can fill in the colour when we've finished drawing this popuar piggy.

 Now we can draw in Peppas arm like in the picture below, as usual there is only one arm, because the other arm is at the other side which we do not see, remember two fingers and one thumb, which kind of resembles actual pigs trotters.

Drawing in pigs feet is quite easy as they are small sticks with squashed oval shape like feet since she usually wears black shoes.

Oh and don't forgoet the small curly pigs tail on her back (As I nearly forgot!)

Now onto some colour, because Peppa Pig is nothing without some colour.

We all know the colours of Peppa Pig....

You need a light pink for Peppas face and a slightly darker pink for the circle on peppas cheek,

Then a red for Peppas dress

And a black for Peppas Shoes.

Now we have a finished Peppa Pig, take a bow you've done well!
